  1. So athletes the World over are the same - so deep into the Cult of Personality that no morals nor social rules (let alone religious rules) apply.

I wonder how many of these stellar ‘heroes’ of the sports arena break the rules of ‘the game’ too?

Such a shame - it use to be a game, a cheap diversion from the repetitive humdrum of everyday life for the regular Joe - is now rift with lousy ‘officiating’, criminal team ‘players’ and dare I say it - outright cheating to even win the game?

Once you do not immediately fire one player who breaks the rules - it becomes so much easier to keep ‘em all on - and watch more and more rules get broken.

We watch Ice Hockey - it lost it luster for me last spring when the Refs chose to leave Malkin on the ice rather than kick him out of the game - Bettman & the Refs should have just walked onto the Ice at the start of the first game and said - We’re giving the Stanley Cup to the Penguins - the fix was that in. But of course they made megga bucks by going to Game 7 (it’s all about the Benjamins)!

Now I do not care as much about the two sports I use to watch - Football and Hockey - it just does not seem to be about the game or the rules - but about who wins.

Thus (as much as it pains me) GO INDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
