She’s going to lose - because they will ‘claim’ it meant something other than the ‘it’ being her.
This is what happens when the pc police try to take the slang, historical (but racist), angry and violent words out of the lexicon - human beings need and want them - so they just make up more - as that is what it all is - words that maybe had a historical and/or true linguistic beginning became distorted and mangled into ‘hate’ speech. And now ‘hate’ speech is bad, so we just go on to create new ‘hate’ speech.
And combine the pc police with the Legal Lottery and you have Ms Glass suing because she ‘claims’ she was reduced to an ‘it’.
Considering the guy probably barely remembers her name - she should be so lucky.
Not heard it here - but I’m old and not up on the new slang.
Funny, I read “I’d hit that” and “I’d tap that” in comments all over the web. Pretty sure I’ve heard it said out loud. Guess this expression is similar. Do young men say such things to young women directly?
If Miss Priss thinks this is such an awful level of aggression, I suggest she never come down from her feminist studies ivory tower and go out into the real world past the gentled and flaccid borders of the UK. To heck with her chances of survival in the islamic world, she’d suffer a mental meltdown just visiting France or Italy.
Oh, and from reading the quotes, perhaps they are indeed to referring to an it, but that it is a specific body part. So it is correctly an it, not a “her”.
And I’ll bet she dresses as hot as possible on the job too. Depend on it. Sounds like a total royal douche to me.
Everyone is boarding this “sexist” bandwagon. Especially embarrassing are the feminists
who are straight men, wringing their collective hands screaming hang em high.
I don’t think women should be ill treated or bullied and I doubt we’d find anyone at BMEWS who does, but this is so far over that top that anything at all can now be seen as, sexist and anti female.
Seems as tho it’s left up to the offended party as to what is “sexist”
The world is a mad place.
To paraphrase a great man who has nothing but the utmost respect for women, ‘It depends on what your definition of “it” is...’
Hmmm from the looks of it, I’d “smash it” also..
…just sayin
You have to designate. One is either a “He” it, or a “She” it. That’s enough of that sheit.
