  1. I am dissapointed, because I know that this was the right thing for folks like myself.  Having said that, I can see why this had problems getting by, and it has to do with the differences in the qualifications for permit from state to state, lets face it, it is a different life in New York city than it is in many parts of the country west of the mississippi.  My suggestion is a system where you apply for a permit that would cover the wanted reciprocity from the federal government for all states, that would include another backround check and at least five(somewhat recent)years of past state permit permission without incident.  If you pass that, then it is reasonable to be granted a permit to carry nation wide.  I think I’ll send this to Cam and company at NRA news too!

  2. May the whole spineless lot of them, especially Shumer the tumor on the ass of liberty, find themselves needing, and not having, a firearm very very soon.

  3. It figures, Voinibitch SNAFU’s something else. Man, we grow the dumbest politicians here in Ohio. Then we elect the bastards.

If my job wasn’t good & fairly secure, I would leave this joint to the idiots.

  4. I nearly gagged when Dick Durbin (D, IL Thugacrasy) said that he was ‘mindful’ of State’s Rights which is why he was voting against it. What a load of bs.

All the states recognize marriage licenses, divorce decrees, custody/child support decrees, and of course drivers licenses - that is all this is - another license. But somehow when the word gun is part of it - everyone goes nuts (like Bloomberg spewing forth that ‘everyone will be carrying if this goes through’, What a schmuck). There are more requirements in any of the States for the CCL than most every of the other licenses/decrees I mentioned (other than a contested divorce/custody) - so what - must everything be Federal now? So instead they vote again to infringe upon our 2nd Amendment Rights (Historical scholars out there - did there need to be ‘bills’ & ‘legislation’ to force all the states to recognize each others other licenses?!?). If not, why this particular one?

I must send my ‘representatives’ those immortal words of that great patriot, Ted Nugent - The Second Amendment of the Bill of Rights is my concealed weapons permit -

On Voinovich - there are two reasons he did this 1) he is out as of 2010 - so he votes anyway he damn pleases now and most importantly 2) he is from Cleveland - enough said.

  5. Somehow, just when it seems something good is about to happen, a rino or two always pops up to vote against what the people want.  Never seems to fail…
