  1. Hard to not see racism if you’re black. Especially if you listen to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. As half my family is black, I can’t afford to be racist. I can, however, take you to task for bad behavior. Like driving around at 3AM blasting out crap music. It isn’t just blacks that do that now; I know a lot of young white ‘kids’ that do that. I’d really like to line them up and shoot them, but we aren’t allowed to do that.

My point is that isn’t a ‘racist’ thing, it’s bad behavior. I don’t care what color you are.

Is that just me? Or does anyone on BMEWS agree?

  2. I agree, it’s bad behavior. I don’t think I was writing about loud music though. And I liked my music pretty loud when I was younger myself. Rebellious teens. Now I’m deaf. My own fault mostly.

No, I was writing about a wrong-headed “public awareness” campaign on the northwestern shores of Lake Superior, and how the efforts to speak up against it undertaken by a perhaps fringe group were met with near hysteria and the usual crop of dingbat leftoid antics (ceremonial offerings of tobacco to the earth spirits, etc). The fringe folks the media wants us to instantly dismiss as crazy eyed Nazi Kluckers ... who managed to deliver a rather mild message without a brown shirt or jackboot in sight. And got rather maligned for their effort anyway.

  3. It’s more than loud music, though I still hate being awakened at 3AM by idiots who think I should have to listen to the crap they call music these days as they drive by. It’s other stuff too, I really don’t want to see your dirty underwear. And don’t ever show up, if I ever own a business, looking like that. You will NOT be hired. That goes for weird piercings, tattoos, etc.
