  1. A huge market for pistol mags to replace all the 10 rounders shipped with full size pistols.
And my stash of new M-14 mags will do a Lucent like dive in price. I will still do a happy dance.

  2. I agree with Staale...huge market for full-cap mags for pistols sold after 1994, especially those that didn’t come on the market until after 1994, like my Sig P229.

Companies that make magazine fed semi-auto rifles-Armalite, Bushmaster, Arsenal USA, DSA, etc-will put forth rifles with evil but unnecessary to civilians featutres such as bayonet lugs and flash suppressors.  Gun nuts such as myself will buy them, if for no other reason that we know DiFi will try again, because the features really piss her off.

Value of formerly hard to get items such as 100 rounds drums for ARs and AKs will plummet when companies start making them again.

There will be an initial market surge on currently banned items (sellers market), followed by a glut (buyers market), and market stabilization.

  4. You all know my personal feelings regarding ownership of weapons, concealed or otherwise...........

  5. Yo!
Actually, I don’t expect much of a change at all.  The Peoples Republics of New Jersey, Californicator, and MassoftwoShits still have draconian state laws.  I think many people (like myself) actually ignored the federal law and found ways around it on the internet, in gun shows, etc… I voted a long time ago - leaving PRNJ and moving back to the United States in Pennsylvania, where (most) people are far more thoughtful, rational and realistic regarding firearms.  I still own those evil, nasty menacing assault weapons (the (I am NOT kidding) Sears .22 caliber, 17 shot (long rifle, tube mag) plinker I got when I was 15).  This is not my only firearm, but for this .22 to be labelled as an assault weapon is utter stupidity.

Dottie - I do not know “your personal feeling regarding, etc...” May I respectfully ask what they are?

  7. I agree, the price of pre-ban mags and “assault weapons” is going to go down. But first I think it’s going to go up. I’ve held off picking up an EBR in the hopes that this silly-ass law would sunset. I dare say I’m not the only one. I think the prices will spike briefly after the sunset.
