Yes, Rush mentioned it yesterday as did local talk show - such a pathetic piece of crappola - juvenile and petty. Harkens back to McVeigh (he’s dead, executed - which gives you a clue as to how long it’s been). But the most offensive is the slam at ‘returning’ Veterans (I have two of ‘em) - implied that they are drooling, angry killing machines just looking for more people to kill.
The American Legion sent a nasty gram to Mssssssssssss Napolitano how absolutely base and rotten to imply that Veterans are easy pickins for hate groups.
BTW, if you want to toss your cookies - read the last page - it is the start of the Stasi in the US - report and turn in your neighbors NOW.
There’s nothing new here. Going back to the days of the civil rights movement, many groups, both left and right (I think the right wing groups got more slack, but I could be wrong) have been treated like this. It’s one thing to determine if a group is engaging in illegal acts, it’s quite another to take action or encourage others to take action against a group or its members simply for having strong opinions that are contrary to government doctrine.
Welcome to the world of Big Brother. It’s not new, it’s just something that most people haven’t thought about much.
P.S. Don’t think the opinions here on BMEWS haven’t registered on the government’s radar. I doubt if we’re more than a name on a list, but I’d be very surprised if we didn’t show up on a list of extremists/subversives/whatever.
