  1. Seems to me we as a nation should borrow every dime we can get our hands on and put it into Hurricane Relief in an attempt to make our homes more valuable here in Tampa Bay.  Everyone knows; it’s not if, but when, an earthquake will ravage Caleefornia.

On the other hand, we have not been hit with a hurricane in Tampa Bay since 1906.  They say it happens about every one hundred years, so I’m feelin’ pretty confident.

I’m hoping the Super Bowl in Jacksonville will drive up our home prices here in Florida.  Just remember the east coast is the hurricane coast down here when you buy.

I suggest buying in Pasco County because of our low taxation.

No income tax in Florida either, just like Texas.

  2. The same applies to Hernando County.  Taxes are even lower, we have LOTS more space and prices are cheaper than Pasco!

    There!  Take that!  grin

Want cheaper still?  Go north one more county to Citrus.

Home prices here in Hernando have almost doubled in the past three years (unless you live on the water and then it’s only taken 2 years.)
