I swear those folks in Washington aren’t worth the air they are breathing. I agree. 100% turnover.
Not that I like it, but a raise from 18.4 to 24.3 cents is only 5.9 cents, not a dime…
However, math aside.. WHAT THE HELL IS CONGRESS DOING?
We need some kind of oversight on these bastards.. not some “watchdog group” but people who are willing to go to these “powerful” people and tell them “NO” and mean it.. no political backscratching, no ass kissing, none of the usual garbage.
Congress is a sham.
Bill
no.. the tax rate on Gasoline is 18.4centspergallon(Federal) and the tax on diesel is 24.3CPG.. they are talking about raising both up 10 cents to 28.4 CPG and 34.3CPG.. they are ripping… if they really want to help the economy raising Federal Gas tax is not the way to do it. especially not the Diesel rate.. Truckers are suffering enough as it is… and since most of the Retail Products in the US are shipped by Semis that use Diesel.. it will end up hurting consumers even more..till Diesel inches it’s way back closer to Gasoline prices they need to not mess with the tax on it..and these are federal taxes not counting the state and etc taxes on gas…
