It seems to me that outreach should begin with them renouncing their attitude of the past four years. I’m okay with disagreement based on fact. I have some differences with the President’s policies myself. I have a problem, however, with the lying bags of feces that you pointed out above. They don’t seen to realize that their lies push thinking people away and destroy their own credibility.
Until then, I’m more than willing to reach out...and slap the lying bastards up side the head.
I heard that Elizabeth Edwards has breast cancer. Even though we can’t stand her-cancer is a horrible thing for a person to go through.
I extend my prayers to Her and her family during this time. Barb
President Bush was magnanimous in victory Wednesday and promised truly to work at being a uniter. That was important. Other members of the GOP team are singing from an entirely different playbook, however. They expect to see a “revolution” in which they get to force through their conservative, religion-based social agenda. This election, they believe, was a mandate for that. Plainly put, that is nonsense.
This is the opening line in todays Minneapolis StarTribune. The rest is the usual mix about how dumb the country is for electing Bush.Thank god the St.Paul paper endorsed G.W.time to change subscriptions.
Funny how that opening line might have been written for the other party. Kerry was gracious in concession. More so than I really expected. His running mate and many others were not.
We’re all really going to have to work at unity, but it’s going to take both sides. The sooner these opinionated rags get done crying a river, building a bridge and get over it the better we all will be.
I sure hope Kerry doesn’t set up a shadow government, questioning the President at every turn....
