This fine pilot must be a throwback to the days when the British military meant something to the nation. Now I suspect they will say he risked everyones safety by flying blind.

OCM ... Could you not have kept the same name before the @ and used att.net? Everything would (they promised) be moved without losing files etc.
In one way you’re lucky (maybe) because you’re right there. Like you, I signed up years ago with the worldnet thing but this ‘migration’ is impossible to cope with where I am. I spent lots of time yesterday and will finish today making changes and have opened an account elsewhere, and reset things so that when they cut this off at least I have saved files etc.
For a communication company they leave a lot to be desired.So did our heroic pilot live or die - the article did not say (even though a journalist was part of the 20)?
ocm ... guess we’ve been lucky re. the spam thing with att. at first, at the beginning yeah. had some. but over the last 5 or 6 not that much at all. i put it down to their good filters. some junk does get thru but not often.
speaking of spam, or spam like anyway but not exactly. i have another new account with GMX which is pretty good except, they keep sending these self congratulatory mails telling us how great they are and all about supposed awards etc. but when you write to em with a question not covered by FAQs, they don’t reply. they have a forum but i’ll be darned if i can work the damn thing out. and their emails keep coming. no big deal really, and it’s free after all.oh yeah. the fingers thing.. well. guess that’s it then. i didn’t really wanna take the time to go thru dwnloading and practice typing etc. i think i liked the idea of it but the reality is as you say it is. AGE and time.
