  1. Dusty Baker:

“Personally, I like to play in the heat,” Dusty said. “Most Latin people and minority people do. You don’t find too many brothers from New Hampshire or Maine, right? We were brought over here because we could work in the heat. Isn’t that history? Your skin color is more conducive to heat than it is to the lighter-skinned people. I don’t see brothers running around burnt. That’s a fact. I’m not making this up. I’m not seeing some brothers walking around with some white stuff on their ears and noses.’’

See? Blacks can take the heat, just ask Dusty. This global warming story is bunk.

On a serious note, however… this global warming story is bunk.

  2. Carbon dioxide is what we exhale.

Carbon monoxide is what our cars, gas heaters, gas ranges, ect. put out.

Apparently the CBC thinks they have proof that whites breathe more than blacks?

    Junk science is ... junk.

  3. I might be able to see why, as a percentage of a racial group’s population, more blacks die in high heat events than whites.  During “heat events"-what most people call a heat wave-most of the people who die live in big cities.  You don’t hear of many heat wave deaths in the suburbs, and you sure don’t hear about them in rural areas.
A higher percentage of the black population lives in big cities than in the white population.  And, given the persistent poverty that plagues much of the black population, especially in the urban areas, they’re more likely to live in places where the A/C doesn’t work, there’s poor ventilation, etc.

That’s all just speculation-I’ve got no actual stats to back it up, but it makes sense to me.

There’s nothing racist about it-the poverty is the main cause, and the poverty is induced by dependance on government handouts and the self-inflicted culture wound that degrades working hard, studying, etc as “being white.”
