  1. I say exactly right. Roger Hedgecock speaking with Ramos lawyer today, it seriously looks like D.H.S. lied about all of the so called evidence, and lied to Congress about it.

  2. Tancredo? I’d vote for him.

  3. I wish Bush was running for something again so I could vote aganist him. I have lost all and any respect I had for him.

  4. It looks as though we might have a shit hits the fan moment shortly:
    From WorldNetDaily.com:

    Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas is calling for the resignation of Department of Homeland Security officials who he says lied about the case of two Border Patrol agents imprisoned for their actions in the shooting of a drug smuggler.

    As WND reported, at a congressional hearing yesterday, Rep. John Culberson of Texas confronted DHS Inspector General Richard Skinner about his agency’s claim it had documentary proof of the guilt of former agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean.

    “Richard Skinner admitted yesterday under oath that his top deputies gave members of Congress false information painting Border Patrol agents as rogue cops who were not in fear for their lives and who were ‘out to shoot Mexicans,’” Culberson said in a statement.

    Culberson said he believes false information was given to congressmen to “throw us off the scent and cover up what appears to be an unjust criminal prosecution of two U.S. law enforcement officers whose job was protecting our country’s borders from criminals and terrorists.”
    The admission came during Skinner’s testimony before the Homeland Security Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee. Culberson was asking questions about a meeting DHS officials had Sept. 26 with him and three other Republican congressman from Texas, Reps. Ted Poe, Michael McCaul and Kenny Marchant.

    WND previously reported that at that meeting Skinner’s office asserted it had documentary evidence Ramos and Compean:

    1. confessed to knowingly shooting at an unarmed suspect;

    2. stated during the interrogation they did not believe the suspect was a threat to them at the time of the shooting;

    3. stated that day they “wanted to shoot a Mexican”;

    4. were belligerent to investigators;

    5. destroyed evidence and lied to investigators....

    Yesterday, under questioning by Culberson, Skinner admitted DHS did not in fact have investigative reports to back up its claims.

    “The person who told you that misinformed you,” Skinner reportedly replied.

    This prompted a startled and angry response from Culberson, who charged Skinner’s office with lying to the Texas congressmen and painting Ramos and Compean as dirty cops.

  5. Ok dick posted what I wanted to bring out here - but I am wondering? Ponder with me for a moment. Most of the people after Bush and most especially bushitlerburtonco are 1) associates of the Clintonistas (if not clintonistas themselves) who have a long history of playing fast and loose with the truth, the law, and thug like control of inferiors, oops sorry subordinates. . .and 2)combine that with the conspiracy theorists out there and here is what you come up with -

    All this is a plan to bring down the evil bushitlerburtonco while at the same time secretly passing laws that further invade and take away personal privacy and freedom (because hey, if the stupid masses actually discover them (dmca for one) it happened on the bush watch - so it’s bush’s fault!

    They can’t lose and America can’t win - because they are doing it, making it look like they are fighting some infringement and/or out of control bushitlerburtonco action and walla - America is weakened, everyone on both sides distrusts politicians, government and it doesn’t matter because while we were lulled to sleep by the repetious ‘talking points’ - Bush lied, They Died, Iraq Civil War, War of Occupation, Illegal War, NSA Wiretapping, and so on - they have secretly passing more restrictive on personal freedoms, higher taxation and more invasive into personal privacy laws.

    What better way to destroy religion than imply their leaders are homosexuals and/or perverts, or nutcases with guns or pr people. . .what better way to bring down the border than imply the administration is behind nothing being done and the guards are racists anyway. . .what better way to destroy law enforcement than imply every cop is on the take or a racist. . . what better way to destroy our only real worldwide protection than imply that it’s full of stupid, ‘cold blooded murders’ . . .What better way to destroy a society than the criminals pointing to the others and screaming evil, corrupt and get rid of them.

    Great plan - because it’s working.

  6. I think it’s likly that the motions that Ramos’ and Compean’s attorneys will file based on these “new” facts will get them out of prison pending the appeal hearing. If they win their appeal they may have a very strong case for their “wrongfully convicted” law suit against Skinner, et al, that is surely to follow. More tax payer money spent/wasted because of inept and corrupt government…

  7. He’s my 2008 candidate for POTUS 08.
    It is a shame that GWB is trying to be nice with the liberal left by destroying our values. That’s cowardice at least. He’s not up for re-election, so what gives? I understand those traitorous congressmen that call themselves Republicans but are nothing but government bureaucracy employees, have a job they want to keep, and have no second thoughts about turning their back on their principles and their voters in order to be less “attacked” by the enemy. We do need to elect people with deep convictions, not looking for a job but a quest to improve America and to defeat all our enemies. It all starts by not breaking the law and not punishing our enforcers for doing their jobs. It’s sad that Governments are ran by politicians. It’s just the way it is.

  8. Uh my hubby pointed out - aren’t Ramos and Compean Hispanic? Sooooooooo, Skinner (his report, office, documents, ghostwhisper talk whatever) should have been seen as crap from the gitgo.

    Too bad the Border is such a meaningless issue to those in DC claiming to all be on the side of American citizens.  They all just might want to think about WE THE PEOPLE once in a while.

  9. I just want someone who is a BY GOD CONSTITUTIONALIST!  I am SO fucking sick of the “living document"alists. I want America to be a soveriegn nation, not just a piece of the “one world” shit thing.

  10. I hear that Tancredo will head-up a group of congress-critters allowed to see Ramos about this Friday. Ramos’ wife says he is having a problem with balance and lifting his left arm...so we’ll see what happens.

  11. There is way more to this story than meets they eye. The more I dig into it the more it appears that there are a group of friends of Bush who are deliberately targeting any agency, group, or individual who makes ANY serious effort to hinder the flow of illegals EVEN TO INCLUDE DRUG SMUGGLERS that is crossing into here.

    Remember that the Bush administration called the Minutemen “vigilantes”.

    The DA Johnny Sutton and the judge in this case are just 2 examples and this is not the first but one of many cases they have targeted at law enforcement officials over attempts to stop the invasion. There is also a number of Border Control Supervisors and politicians in Arizona that are also involved in this.

    There is a story that I ran across during this (I can’ find the link right now) that actually states that even the US AG Gonzalez was slapped down when he tried to shut down Sutton amd it may have been by Bush personally.

    Here are a couple of useful links if you would like to delve into this.

    Even Michelle Malkin has been asking questions about what the Hell Bush is up to here. Something stinks to high heaven.

    I’m not happy and I voted for George twice. I didn’t vote to become a Mexican.
