   “Perhaps the Democrats’ message of ‘Vote for my healthcare plan, you fundamentalist, racist, homophobic moron’ could use a little fine-tuning”.

   You guys oughta read John Leo’s entire column, which Allan linked.  In the early 60’s, Galbraith pronounced conservatism dead; a bit premature, eh wot?  But remember, folks are doing the same thing today, to liberalism.
