Hell, there are still dickheads in this country who think Stalin was a swell guy.  Zinoviev and Kamenev were guilty, etc. etc., and of course Alger Hiss and the Rosenbergs were framed.  One would have to ship them into a gulag before they would believe in it.  Academic asshats, mostly, in my experience.
