I admire Rummy, a great American.
Damn the GOP, damn them. I’d like to see Bush take the last two years of his office and poke those dems right in the eyes. They have no intent of doing what is best for America.
If they did John Bolton in the UN would be a no brainer.
It’s unfortunate, but the donks strategy will be to continue to blame Bush right on up to ‘08, for Iraq, and for getting Americas into this pickle. They will offer no “plan”, as they now see this as a winning hand. It is the presidency they desire. It will be difficult for them to behave the next 2 yrs, but, what they want now more than anything is a quagmire.
Perhaps the best strategy for the conservatives is to resign the executive branch, default Pelosi to the Presidency and the ensuing meltdown over the next 2 yrs will propel Americans to toss the donks out. You lose 2 yrs and maybe gain 8.
Yeh, Rummy may have screwed up, Bush turned him out at the worst timed moment, but, as far as the Krauts or anyone else hauling him or any other American into some kangaroo court “war crimes” trials, well, malon lave! Bastards.
Despite the election results, the country remains evenly divided. The liberal wing of the Democratic party must stay as close to center as possible or risk losing control of congress their moderate wing won for them or ruin the cunt’s chances of winning the white house in oh eight!
My guess is that they will continue to misread the American public and go after members of the Republican party (either directly or by proxy) in a way that will expose them for what they are; unAmerican.
We need to see strong, no nonsense and decisive leadership from the Republicans over the coming weeks, if we don’t, I can already feel the hand of the democratic lawmaker reaching deeper into my pocket.
