  1. For those of us who actually lived through the 60’s, I can recreate that look for about $15 at any local Goodwill store. Or, I can spend a couple of weekends at garage/yard sales and spend even less money. $2200? And she’s probably protesting at Occupy [insert city].

  2. It is about the ‘protest’ with liberals - and of course recreating their past glories. Never mind about truth, facts or the difference between true grassroots protests and paid activists.

The only difference from now and 1968 - We The People have the Internet and other things (like personal cell phones etc) to expose them for the idiots, liars and paid activists that they are.

I have one of ‘those’ outfits in one of my clothes storage cases - simply to remind myself - how the he** did I do anything of merit in a dress that barely covered my a**. I remember wearing them for Friday classes in college - it guaranteed I had a date/party for the weekend!

I also remember arguing with the ‘hippies/freespirits’ back in the day that they were even more conformist than those they were ‘protesting’ against - proved by showing them that I was agreeable with many of their ‘core’ issues but they wouldn’t accept me into their ‘groups’ as I was a button down type dresser - they didn’t get it then, they certainly don’t get it now.
