President John Bolton… I like it.

 

1. Bolton’s a straight shooter.  I’d love to see him as POTUS as well, but I’m not holding my breath.

2. He had an uphill climb just to be our rep in the UN among the R party guys. You think they would ever consider him POTUS material. They happily supported MacVain and look where that went.File the Bolton for POTUS under ‘Never. Gonna .Happen’ ,even in your dreams.Hell I’ll even predict the next group of dumb to vie for the nomination: Romney again, Huckabee, Pawlenty et al. Another bunch of dull suits in a bland white wrapper.

3. Go to CPAC in Feb. - He has been there the past two years. I still remember 2008 when I turned around in a hallway and he was standing there - I am sure my mouth was hanging wide open as my mind was racing - That’s John Bolton, I’m standing next to John Bolton. He is very nice (and in my mind much better looking in person) and talked to everyone young (and that is the greatest thing about CPAC is seeing all the young people talking conservative values and knowing just what the hell they are talking about)and us not so young. His talks are great too.

   I am hoping that something turns this year and we will be able to go one final time. Daughter is bummed out to the max as everyone is shoving the We Won crappola in her face (she is President of College Republicans again this year) and many are even calling her evil (so sad). But the worst is come Jan - we won’t have any income from a job coming in until August. So I am not sure that it will happen this year - such a shame as that means I won’t get to see Ann Coulter again.

   Bummer.
