  1. I first heard about this tonight on Fox. Fox said that this UN post was for observations and had been there for twenty years.
Can someone please explain to me WTF this is about? A UN observation post that has been on a fought over border for twenty years? WTF are these wing-nuts doing? “Hay John, twenty bucks American says that terrorist gets tagged before he’s within 200 meters of the border”, “Your on Chin Kua, that Israel sniper is blind as a bat, he’ll make it to the border easy”.
What the hell are they doing? Yep, there goes another ten hezzbolla rockets into Israel. Should we let anybody know? NAAAAAH.
    WTF Over?
    Useless UN.

  2. When the whole story finally emerges, I would not be at all surprised to hear that the UN outpost was being used as a safe haven for Hezbollah and or including perhaps weapons?? Hell if they can hide behind women, children and places of worship why not the anti semite UN?  cheese

  3. The U.N. has no reason to continue to do anything at all except move the hell out of New York, the U.S., and History.  Follow the response to the League of Nations.

  4. Ol’ Kofi better watch out.  The next time the IDF may attack UN targets in Geneva.  I think that we should hit a UN target in New York.

  5. IDF 4, UN 0.

    Darwin prevails once again…

Perhaps this will be the ClueBat education-wallop which may knock some sense into these UN turds, and convince them that this is in fact a war zone, with a real war going on, and not just some kid’s video game.

  6. I read an interesting essay over at American Thinker that says this flare-up is the UN’s fault. It would not have happened if they had actually enforced those resolutions after 2000. Sure, this observation post has been there for years, so they must have observed all those tunnels being dug, all the missiles being hidden, etc., and done nothing. Worthless scum.

The UN is about as anti-Israel as they can be without actually shooting people. And now the talking heads want to make peace by putting in a UN/NATO force staffed by French, German ... and Syrian troops? Why not save time and just enlist them in hezbollah directly?

  7. Gizmo and Drew458 make excellent points.  My thought simply is “Hey, even if they DID target the post intentionally—could you blame them??  They were told “Head North and engage the enemy!” So they did.

  8. Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! Gizmo and Drew458 - thank you.

  9. The most ironic thing about the UN outpost being blown away si that their purpose was to observe and halt the introduction of weapons (read missles) by Hezbollah into southern Lebanon.  Obviously they did their job with the usual spectacular UN style, which is why the missles rain down on Israel and the response blew them away.  Boys, if you did your job, there wouldn’t be missles in southern Israel and you’d still be alive.

  10. UPDATE 1: More evidence.  Retired Canadian Major General Lewis Mackenzie says he recently received emails from the Canadian peacekeeper killed at the UN post who’d told him that Hezbollah was using his post as cover.

Worse than I thought, you now have the UN complicit in this war. Did anyone see the un and Hezbollah flags flying next to one another at this outpost??
