  2. Stan, is there anyone you’re not pissed off at this morning? I’m starting to get the feeling you’ve turned in to a yellow-dog Democrat. Tell me I’m wrong. I don’t want to have to drive down there and put a major whuppin’ on your head bone.

    mad

  3. There is an apocryphal story, when Donald Rumsfeld was a mere “factotum” in the Nixon administration, RMN once accidently spoonerised his name to ”Ronald Dumsfeld” and that moniker stuck like glue until RMN resigned.

Montana has now fallen to the darkside, “Fester” Tester, the dhimmicrat has (allegedly) won in that state, so now it’s a dead heat, with VA being the deciding factor. Bela Pelosi is licking her blood-stained fangs already witch  pig  blah-blah To become the new Shrieker of the House.

  4. Can’t decide if this is a Republican ‘falling on the sword’ to encourage Republicans to come back and support the party or if this is a deal for someone within bushitlerburtonco to ‘fall on the sword’ to keep the Dem majority off the administration’s back.

The first is a weak deal and the President is too late into his administration to actually bother to listen to the msm now.

The second is wasted crap - there is no dealing with democrats, islamic terrorists, and the insane.

Too bad everyone is going to suffer while these lunatics posture for face time on the msm cameras.

Let’s hope that the next terrorist attack is on Congress - at least that one would help America right now.

  5. Skipper,

I am a little blue today, but I am not yet a Democrat. I cast my protest vote for Kinky, and voted for about 85% Republican on the rest of the ballot. All the judges in Dallas flipped from Republican to Democrat in this election cycle.

Rumsfeld (and GW) really screwed up in Iraq by not putting enough boots on the ground to keep the peace after we distroyed their military. “Invasion Lite Version 1.0” wound up being a failure. We never saw Version 1.1.

Why would you wait until the day after the election to fire him? Of all possible timings, that has got to be the worst.

That vote for the dumbass, porkbarrel wall along the Rio Grande, really got my goat. More border patrol agents is a good thing, a wall is not.

If the GOP does not have room under their tent for me or Ben Stein or Dick Armey or John McCain, they are in a heap of shit.

So you think, “Not good riddance?”

  6. I gotta agree with Stanley on a lot of the Rumsfeld business.  There was a lot of discussion at the time about how we were using the minimum number of troops to accomplish the maximum effect.  Well and good, but even the best troops get tired and holding territory can be even tougher than conquering it in many ways and can also require even more troops.

One big question I’ve still got is why is Mugtada al Sadr still alive and at liberty?
