  2. Chris that’s true, but in Dickens day they would have been transported to the colonies for the remainder of their lives. Even if convicted EU law will not allow these maggots to be deported unless they are sentenced for over two years imprisonment.

  3. By ‘colonies’ I assume you are referring to Australia, since Dickens was born in 1812. But I really am not concerned about the children that are being trafficked. They can probably be rehabilitated. I would support making the attempt. The ‘maggots’ I’m concerned about are the adults who are doing the trafficking. They shouldn’t be deported or jailed. Summary execution comes to mind.

    For instance, Bill Sykes and Fagin should be executed.

    The Artful Dodger should be put up for adoption.
