1. Once the Lisbon treaty becomes law in january the EU will have the final say on Immigration so I expect they will share out these deadbeats amongst the EU members. In other words send them to Britain along with the rest of them. Years ago the head of UK immigration predicted that this would come to pass and his only solution was for the EU to open fire on these people. Of course the BBC was horrified at such an idea but to be honest I can’t see any other way of stopping them. This is an invasion by stealth and the EU will end up a turd world country like the places these people are coming from.

2. The thing about Western Civilization was that it was made by and for western people. And it’s western people that keep it going. Water down that population significantly with new folks who have no desire whatsoever to assimilate, and you have a recipe for disaster.

   The concept of “EU” should have stopped with a common currency. This whole thing is slow motion suicide.

3. Also, birth rates by non-immigrant Europeans are waaaay below replacement rate. In fact, if you subtract Muslims, it’s shockingly low.

   To simplify—why are there no mammals running around the earth who don’t want to be bothered with reproducing and caring for young?

4. Chops is correct re birthrate. In fact, there was an article in the paper just yesterday about the Japanese being worried about that with more women choosing a career over family.
   So the govt. is trying out financial incentives to encourage Japanese women to stay at home and raise families.
   Funny how I never thought of the Japanese as having that particular problem. In fact I had thought they were overcrowded, but I guess that’s just major cities like Tokyo.

5. Peiper, you need to read Mark Steyn’s book America Alone. He discusses quite thoroughly the declining birthrates in all of the ‘developed’ nations. Even America just barely meets the replacement birthrate, and I believe he’s fudged that: part of it is based on illegal Mexicans.

   We need to reverse this trend NOW!

   I offer my services. To quote that great philospher Steve Martin:

   “I do a lot of work with unwed mothers. Not what you think. I just help them get their start.”

   I’ve probably not gotten it precisely correct.

   Don’t make me dig out my old vinyl LP of a live Steve Martin performance.
