3. Oh joy.. I know we don’t negotiate with terrorists.. Unless you are Hillary or Pelosi, but PIRATES?? Let us suck up to these corsairs of the high seas! CLAPTRAP!

   I have been reading the news, often close to throwing something across the room which has made my cats nervous, about how people in this guys home state are raising the funds, and such. BUT IT IS GETTING RIDICULOUS! I give odds of 10,000:1 that these ‘elders’ are in the whole scam with these <del>vermin</del> fine seafaring gentleman, probably in the pay of the bosses of these <del>scum</del>pirates. Anyone wanna bet me?

   Peaceful negotiations.. We NEGOTIATE with nations, NOT a bunch of scum sucking bottom feeders in a lifeboat.

   But then again, a few mill in cash is cheaper than the 20 mill a day they are dropping for the convoy of ships that is monitoring the situation..

   40 hostages? GODDAM! Is it ~THAT~ hard to find a freighter off the coast of Somalia? You find the freighter, I am fairly sure, unless the pirates have learned to run a ship, close-by you will find the crew… Add a few SOCOM teams, and there will probably be no more pirate problem…

   *didn’t we have almost the same problem off the Barbary Coast that was eradicated with a well-armed response?

4. It can’t be the next Barbary War, at least not yet.  *points to the House of Representatives and the Senate* Those cowards have forgotten how to declare actual war.

   The U.S. Navy currently can’t use the appropriate response.  *points to the man who is currently the CinC* That man is a continuous disappointment.  He never fails to live down to my expectations for him.
