  1. I keep getting images of an Arthurian knight - staring, stern & resolved - and flipping the bird with strong, gnarled upraised fist.

    Or whatever… grin

  2. The Grail Knight from the Indiana Jones movie. One bird, flipped, armor plated, with gauntlet.

You could resurrect the old Flying Fickle of Fate award. Or the Whoopee! finger. You’re old enough to remember those.

There was a great old Kliban comic, of a birdie and a bunny sitting in front of a campfire, making shadow figures with their paws. The figures they made were of human hands.

  4. Yes - the Grail Knight. Exactly. (But I kept mixing it up with Monty Python’s grail knights too).

I vaguely remember the FFFF. Did it originate on Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In show?

  5. The Flying Fickle Finger of Fate? Yeah, that was Laugh-in. Now I’m really showing my age!

  9. CenTex, best one I’ve seen. Some of the rest of you, quit with Goldie Hawn. Now I gotta go fap…

  10. OMG, hell to the no! Goldie Hawn in that bikini with the grease paint. And the giggle. Barbara Eden in the Jeannie outfit. Diana Rigg in those pants as Emma Peel. And my Cub Scout den mother, Juanita James, wise cracking adorable little hippie chick with her Virginia accent, hair down to her ass crack and no underwear.

Thank you ladies for making me a heterosexual horndog, aware from the 3rd grade on up. I knew what I wanted even then, although I had no idea how to get it or what to do with it if I did for quite a few years after that.

    God bless the 60s.

  11. Drew ...  Another thing from Laff In fits the mood.
    Re all you said.
