Am with you Allan - would love to see a rematch between the Cards & the Red Sox........tho I will be torn between the two as I was last year..............live in St. Louis but born & bred in Red Sox country............During last years playoffs I wore my Cards jersey & my Red Sox cap - and said “may the best team win”..........Since the Cards have the bst record in both leagues, if they can keep the momentum, I’ll go with them.......

2. Right on, Skipper - After tonight’s game, looks like our boys have their hitting shoes on again.  But we really need Carp, Mulder & Morris to get back in form pronto!

3. MY favorite teams are the Cubs and whomever plays the ChiSox.
   I DON’T CARE if the CWS are in the #$&*^%! play-offs!
   I can’t-I WON’T support the “sout’siders”.
   I’m grudgingly supporting the team about 5 hours south of here-but since my baby bears aren’t playing-again-the season really holds no interest for me anymore.

5. Saturday- DAMMIT - the Yanks just won the division title.  It all comes down tomorrow for the Wild Card race- either BoSox or Cleveland............Cleveland? Where’s that?

   Guess who I had as a patient yesterday?  Head coach of the Rams........Of course I’m breaking the HIPPA rules, but poor baby has a bad sinus infection (was in today’s newspaper, so that’s not a secret).......Don’t know if I’ve ever told you but we treat the Cardinals, Rams & Blues in my ER..........most of the players are nice young men!  One major rule of my hospital- we never, ever ask for autographs - can be fired if we do..........We treat them like we treat all patients, except we “hide” them from the general patient population.........
