  1. I’ll bet that he’s still on station at the end of the week doing his thing.

  2. That little bouy is starting to feel it.

Winds are up to 46, and gust to 56 and waves, not even showing up now....

  3. Watching MSNBC last night (I just like to see the moonbats reveal themselves now and then) the stupid anchorman actually asked an NOAA hurricane expert if global warming had anything to do with the storms.  You should have seen the look on his face, the NOAA guy was literally stunned silent! The look on his face was priceless! The reporter then asked again and actually implied that if it was global warming that we could actually do something about it.  The NOAA guy merely stated, that we are in an up cycle of hurricanes and that it is perfectly natural every few decades and there is absolutely nothing we can do. The NOAA representative then stated that it’s not the hurricane it’s the people building and living on the shoreline in a known hurricane path.

  4. So it goes!  Superdome is leaking with a few holes in the roof.  Debris falling on field.  Reports of loud noises as the roof deteriorates further.  People in the Superdome being moved under cover.  Reports of multiple building collapses and blown off roofs crashing into other buildings.  Levee’s are starting to be breached. The cities pumps are beginning to fail.  Most of the onsite reporters have wisely retreated out of the storm and live feeds are intermittent.  Windows blowing out in tall buildings.  The buildings are literally swaying in the wind and some may collapse.  People in hotels whose windows have blown out are huddled in the hallways of the hotel and leaving the upper floors.  Report of 70 year old woman hold up in French quarter with 8 cats who refused to evacuate.  Woman in New Orleans calling 911 with two kids trapped in her attic asking for help.  Apartment collapse in Harvey, LA with 10 people trapped. Other reports of people asking for help due to building collapse are trapped and no help will be on the way.  Just too dangerous for the rescue workers to venture out to save fools and idiots who should have evacuated.

The sad part?  This is mostly from the weak side of the storm.  The eastern side of the storm is where the real power is and the northeastern portion of the storm will likely trigger tornados.

  5. Yeah, I’d hate to see anything happen to the SuperDome with all those people in there...even without all those people in there it wouldn’t be a good thing.

Worst of all, the beadcam is deserted.  downer
