3. Please don’t tar all teachers with the same brush.

   I’m a Benefactor Member of the NRA.  I have a CCL and exercise it.  I’ve been an active adult leader with the BSA for the past 10 years. I’m a frequent Sunday school teacher, and I pray during the morning’s moment-of-silence.  I actually have a Bible in my classroom and make appropriate historical references to it in my World Geography and world History classes.  I spent 24 years wearing BDU’s and came to teaching after completing two other careers.

   Many of us work very hard to teach the truth—certainly a capital crime in many districts.
