People, fer gosh sake quit leaving kids and keys in the car even for a second. U got lucky here.

 

1. I tend to take this stories with a pinch of salt since if the car is stolen then the insurance company would ordinarily pick up the cost of towing.

2. Lyndon, that is true, when my car was pinched and used for a petty crime the police hired a crane to lift it over a school hut to get it to the lab, they presented me with the bill for the crane??? this was in 1992, I found that asking to see the boss now and shouting a lot in the station helped, as for insurance there is the excess to pay I was not going to claim and it would have been my bill. Also even if the goblin was still in the c ar, in the secure compound the woodentops would never catch them, even if they gave themselves up the court would send them to somewhere exotic to tesh them a lesson.
