Backpacks? We didn’t need no steenkin’ backpacks in our day, did we, OCM? We swung our notebook and four or five books under our arm and trudged twenty or thirty feet to the curb where the school bus picked us up. Then we lugged those books around under our arm all day. This made us into strong, manly men (and soft, girly girls because the best way to hook up with a chick was to offer to carry her books).
