   Instead, try a response along the lines of “We understand Ms. Leandra being outraged after being in an unpleasant and possibly dangerous situation, but we don’t condone her comments, which are her own and not those of this magazine.” and then just move on. FHM is NOT the speech police. None of their damn business.

   All the more reason to never Twit, Face, Pin, or make any post on any socialist networking sites under your real name. If you really must use one of them to shout at the world, then set up an anonymous account using a moniker. Only trusted friends and family will know it’s you, and they’re the only people who give a fig about your opinion anyway. If your professional persona has to have a networking presence, fill it with BS and keep it all flowers and candy.

   And such a faux scandal about someone just slightly in the public eye. This is what, the 100 millionth Twitter scandal at this point? Get over it.

2. Nice to know that Patrick Moore is still around. I grew up on reading his astronomy books. I still have a few of them. I expect to be using them again soon. My Church branch has asked me to serve on the Boy Scout committee, part of which will entail qualifying as a merit badge counselor in a couple of subjects. Astronomy will definitely be one.

3. South Africa is not going to end well I’m afraid. Especially as most of the toerags now in power are “former” marxists. It will be Rhodesia writ large. That said calling someone a Kaffir even with provocation is not really recommended. As for dear old Sir Patrick. What a character. I dont really share his opinion on the Germans, but he is from a different generation where people like Churchill would state that the hun is either at your throat or at your feet. Also he lost his fiance to a German bomb and some things you just never get over. Mind you it must have made the bed wetting, coke snorting liberal tossers at the BBC choke on their lattes when they read it!

4. Lyndon… Agree with you but did find it interesting that there was nobody that came forward to be ‘offended’ on behalf of the hapless Germans.

   I can’t recall if I told this story or not. Worth it in either case.
   Many moons ago when in LA, Lufthansa was running ads on radio offering flights to London saying that their pilots know the skies of London, or words to that effect. Embassy complained and the ads were pulled.
