peiper,
I can’t wait till next month when I can wave bye-bye-from 30,000 feet as I go feet wet.
Admittedly, Ireland doesn’t (yet) have the vast illegal immigrant problem, but the general population does have he very same “Liberal, humanitarian” mid-set as the Brits and the Muhammads are making inroads by coming to the Emerald Isle, opening a kabab stand, conning the local colleens into marrying them, knocking out a bunch of future Gaelic speaking jihadists, getting an Irish passport and then announcing they’re allowed to have 4 wives according to Sharia law (the only law they recognise).
When the 1st wifey objects she’s either beaten into submission or honour killed. That’s also allowed in Sharia law.

Well said NJY. That is a neat turn of phrase. Be sure and stay in touch.
I envy you.
Sorry, but I have to disagree. I think the judge did the right thing. After all, the woman had no passport, so how was she going to get out of the UK in the first place? Sticking her in jail for more than a year was kind of heavy handed. A proper refused deportation system ought to have given her a bail hearing within a couple days of her coming back. Maybe they should have then sent her to Israel. Somebody has to have that area under their wing, right?
And this is exactly the kind of situation that “Palestinians” love. Big press, and sympathy for “their” beleaguered homeland situation. This is why the cities they live in are still called “refugee camps” 65 years after the fact. They’ve never seen a tent in their lives. The entire thing is BS, the people born and raised to be political pawns. And terrorists. And Jordan and the other Arab states play the game along with them.
There will ever only be one final solution to the overall problem. It’s a shame, but certainly an understandable one, that Israel doesn’t want to go that route.
