  1. First of all, my real email address is .  I’ve been using it for years. This is the one I’ve been signing on to your site with.  I don’t know where you got the idea that I was hiding something or that that email address is somehow fake.  I just email Vilmar back recently and those of you here who have emailed me I’ve emailed back as well.

As far my name, it happens to be Stacey Wayne Melnick.  Though why you feel the need to put my full name up on your website, I don’t really understand.

Calling me anti-American, well, I don’t know where that comes from.  Sound a bit hysterical to me.  Is there something I’ve said which you would categorize as anti-American?  If there is, I’d like to know what it is.  I feel like maybe someone has taken something I said out of context.

All I was interested in doing is starting a dialogue with the people on your group.  I had no idea it would upset people so much.

  2. Stacey,

You haven’t upset anyone. Don’t be a moron. We just liek to knwo who we are talking to, especially if they hide their location as you have done and disagree with everything we say. Come clean is all we ask.

And BTW, anyone who takes most of the positions you have is anti-American in my view .. but that’s just my opinion. Which I am entitled to.

  3. What do you mean by hiding my location?  How have I done that.  I happen to live in Virginia.  I wouldn’t know the first thing about change my ISP address.

Exactly which positions have I taken that make me anti-American?  Fair tax treatment?  Being worried about a constantly escalting deficit?  Trying to get people to focus on the issues instead of stuff that happened 30 years ago?

It really seems to me you’re getting overly upset about the whole thing.  Like I’ve said before, all I want to do is start a dialogue.

  4. The whole problem, Stacey, is that Senator Kerry himself has been running on his service in Vietnam, so that makes it fair game and the MSM is making it the primary issue. Tell me, have you really heard ANYTHING positive about his 19-year record in the Senate?

What’s that deafening silence I hear?

And why has Senator Kerry voted AGAINST every major weapons bill for the military, and FOR every major tax increase, in that same 19-year period?

And because Senator Kerry goes apeshit when a group of swift boat vets start telling the truth about Kerry’s service, and he sics his lawyers on that one group to shut them up instead of coming clean, that sets a great example of what Kerry will do as President when he runs into criticism.

Whether you like to admit it or not, Stacey, WE ARE AT WAR and during war the first priority is to WIN THE WAR and THEN pay for it later. That’s why we run deficits in such times. That’s why we spent 2 billion (1945) dollars on the Manhattan Project.because we dared not let Hitler or Tojo get their filthy hands on the Bomb first. That’s why we go after the terrorist bastards OVER THERE, so we don’t have to face them OVER HERE.

What was the most recent estimate of the deficit? Somewhere around $400 billion. That’s ONLY 4% of the GDP of this country. Deficits as a percentage of GDP during WWII and the Cold War were a hell of a lot higher!

Every 20 years when taxes are cut, the country undergoes a significant growth period afterward. Last time was Reagan 20 years ago. Prior to that, John Fitzgerald Kennedy...well waddya know! A DEMOCRAT!. And what did they cut? Taxes across the board...individuals, corporations, and small businesses...all three provide economic growth. All three groups benefit and as a result, so does the nation.

Unfortunately, you’ve provided the same old mantra from the same old playbook the Liberals have used for the last 30-some years. Which is why you’re not in power.

  5. I agree that you have to increase spending during a time of war.  Of course, this war has been much more expensive then wars in the past.  I just read how the first Guld war cost less the 10 billion.  We all know this one’s cost more than 20 times that amount.

But as I’ve been saying before, there’s nothing wrong with increasing spending as long as you increase the revenue.  You’ll note that the last two times they cut tax they didn’t have a major conflict going on at the time.

The way we’re going, the interest along on the national debt is going to upwards of 300 billion.  That’s just the interest we have to pay on it every year.  Eventually it’s going to bite us in the butt.

As far as Kerry’s record during the last 19 years, I agree, we should talk about that.  Let’s talk about the McCain-Fienblume bill he helped get passed.  And actually, what you said about him cutting voting to cut defense spending, it’s not entirely accurate.  He did vote against a lot of the star wars stuff from the eighties, but that’s because that was a pretty bad idea in the first place.  Something he did more recently was vote for that 84 billion defense bill that people complain he voted against.  This actually goes along with a lot of my argument about the debt.  The original bill providing support to our troops in Iraq also specified how it would get paid.  The White House refused to approve it that way so it got defeated in the Senate until that one part of the bill was taken out.  Kerry voted against it in protest.  Of course, everyone just says oh, Kerry voted against a bill to provide funding for our troops.  He’s weak on the military.  Really, he’s just trying to be fiscally responsible.

  6. Star Wars a bad idea?  Heck it’s what won the cold war?  It freed millions of people!

    What rock you living under?

  7. Kerry has his nose buried up so many 527 Groups asses it would take every roll of paper towel in the world and he would still have a brown stain there on his nose in my opinion. You have no facts you lie about you name and where your from. You seem to be a John Kerry wannabe. Do us all a favor put your head between your ass and see how your hero is perceived around the world. Enjoy the picture!!!!!

  8. By the way when did you have your sex change operation. Was it as expensive as I see on TV. Keeping a boys middle name was cute. Maybe you only went half way and are still Packing a piece. Always where a condom though. Do they make them to cover your whole body yet?????

  9. "Really, he’s just trying to be fiscally responsible.”

I love analogies. Lemme see if I can apply your logic.

My kid has pneumonia and unless I buy some medicine, is in possible danger of dieing. I decide (because I’m trying to be fiscally responsible) not to buy the medicine because I don’t like the payment plan?

    Stares… Blinks....

50 repubs and 37 dems don’t seem to think so.

  10. First of all, I’m a man.  I never claimed to be anything else.  I was named after Stacey Keach, the actor.

Second of all, Star Wars didn’t win us the cold war, the arms race did that.  Star Wars was a defense system that the Russians knew wouldn’t work.  Everyone did.  The technology just wasn’t there.

Thirdly, if you want to ignore me and twist my words around, I can’t stop you.  All I can do is reiterate - I’m not saying we shouldn’t have a war because we don’t have the money, I’m saying we should have some plan for paying for it.  And we’re totally capable of doing that.

  11. When you’re up to yer ass in alligators, it’s hard to remember that you were trying to drain the swamp.

One of the alligators is paying for the war.

    The swamp is militant Islam.

    Drain the swamp.

  13. Hey Stacey:

Above you state, in part, “Trying to get people to focus on the issues instead of stuff that happened 30 years ago?”

Any chance you watched and/or or studied reports on the recent Democrat Party Convention in Boston?

Who controlled the topical agenda at that event - the Republicans or Democrats?

If you had to guess, which topic received more focus - especially in the candidate’s nomination acceptance speech - war issues from 30 years ago or current events.

Additionally, in the past 18 months, how many times have you heard John Kerry let it slip that he’d served in Vietnam (ya know, like when he’s asked how he likes the weather and replies, ‘well it’s nothin like it was back in Vietnam’)?

When the media asks the Bush Campaign to comment on Kerry’s war record they have repeatedly stated that they do not question Kerry’s record in Vietnam but would certainly like to talk about his Senate voting record over the past 20 years - and his apparent lack of serious accomplishments.

Kerry recently taunted his critics to “Bring it on.” And, they have now responded emphatically with a polite okay.

So, pleeeeeeeeze.  Give us all a break.

  14. Hey Stacey:

Above you comment in part, “Star Wars was a defense system that the Russians knew wouldn’t work. Everyone did. The technology just wasn’t there.”

I didn’t know that.  Does that make me a nobody?

I’ve read at length on this subject - including post-USSR interviews with prior Soviet scientists and senior government officials - and the data that I’ve examined suggests that your comments are 180 degrees out of phase.

Please provide us with the resources you’ve marshalled to inform your above conclusions - all of them.

    Thanks much.

  15. Alas, poor Stacey, I didn’t know him well or very long.....
but I warned him..................that he was about to get his
commenting ass in a ringer-----well, the ringer has wrung!

    I love it!

  16. Stacey,

The M-1 Abrams tank was not “Star Wars”.
The Aegis system was not “Star Wars”.
The F-16 fighter was not “Star Wars”.
The F/A-18 was not “Star Wars”.
The Apache helicopter was not “Star Wars”.
The Patriot missile system was not “Star Wars”.
The Tomahawk Cruse missile was not “Star Wars”.
The B-2 Stealth bomber was not “Star Wars”.
This is an incomplete list of the systems Kerry has voted against.

Six times in the past 10 years he voted to freeze or reduce defense spending. Mr. Kerry also cast two votes to loosen trade controls over “dual-use” technology such as U.S.-made high-speed computers that can also be used by enemies to build high-tech weaponry.

Then there was the cuts he wanted to make in the intelligence budgets that even *spit* Teddy *spit* Kennedy *hack* *spit* couldn’t support. This after the attacks began against the U.S.

No wonder he wants to talk about 4 months in Viet Nam rather than his undistinguished Senate record.

He’s a Socialist who wants to disarm this country.  He thinks it’s a good idea to give nuclear fuels to Iran because they say it’s only for energy production.

Please, Stacy, get a fucking clue.
