12 years in Suffolk and Cambs was enough.
We are so cold and wet here, that I haven’t gotten my poor seedlings into the ground. May have to pitch them and just plant into the beds, if and when it gets warm and dry here. The cherries, however, are about done.
After many years in not-so-jolly or warm or dry Ireland I’m thinking of heading to warmer climes.
And that isn’t New Jersey.
We lived in central North Carolina for 2 years and I found the climate WONDERFUL.
I’m headed state-side in October and I’m going to scout some places then. At 70 I can’t be waiting too long.
Hey it’s be damp and chill here in NJ for a week or more. Rain rain rain. The sun finally came out yesterday and we had a nice early Spring day ... in the middle of May. It’s 11am here now, and I don’t think the temp has hit 60 yet. Very unusual weather, and this after a very unusual and mild winter.
I did a quick weather check, and it’s another drop dead lovely day in the Bahamas, 81 with a short rain this morning.
