  3. Just think what those first class suites on the Titanic cost.

    Didja read Heinlein’s “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”? The best solution for launching Earth<>Moon was to use a loooong magnetic ramp.  On Earth they had to create a vacuum in the launch tube running up a mountain.  I ‘m pretty sure they used the rotation for an assist also.

  4. One problem:

    Any possible orbital flight path from their location flies over inhabited areas of CONUS. This means the waste-of-taxpayer-money ‘spaceport’ will be limited to 5 min or so suborbital flights.

    (Hence why we launch from Vandenburg and The Cape...)
