Out Of Control In Paris

  1. From the linked article I learn:

    1. France’s failure to completely implement Marxism is the cause. Nobody gave these kids an education and a job.
    2. About Paragraph 18 it appears that the riots have something to do with Islam? But Islamists (by which they mean the organized terrorists)are probably not behind the riots.  If they were, they’d be using Mustard Gas and Plastique.

  2. P.S. Wondering why this type of shit only happens in Europe?

Feb 1982, Syrian Islamists revolt in the city of Hama. President Assad responds with extreme brutality, subjecting fundamentalist neighborhoods to artillery barrages, literally leveling much of the city, and killing 10,000 to 25,000 residents. There is no further trouble from Islamist extremists in Syria.

A sub-optimal solution, to be sure.  Maybe there’s a Happy Medium—small arms fire directed at the guilty?

  3. The rioters have to be careful about who they assult so as to keep the upper hand!

  4. Unfortunately, I don’t think Jacqueline Sshhh’Iraq will grow balls any time soon.

  5. Reuters Free Press - Muslim rioters were cornered by French Special Police Forces and doused with pig-fat based oils and lit afire in the Seine-Saint-Denis region north of Paris, a Muslim stronghold in the latest riots engulfing Paris. Local Muslim officials condemned the “brutal and unprovoked attack upon the peace-loving peoples of Muslim France.” They promised retaliation.

In an unrelated story, the same leaders deplored the immolation of a crippled elderly woman who, senselessly, entered the area of the “holy uprising” bringing her fate upon herself.

In response to the fiery assault upon the Muslim freedom fighters, a dozen Palestinian militants blew themselves up in front of the French embassy in Jerusalem in a futile attempt to breach the embassy gates, guarded by French Foreign Legionnaires. A spokesman for the Legion said two dozen more attackers were gunned down by accurate “enfilading fire,” whatever that is, from the embassy walls. Israeli officials had no comment on the legality of the French defense. A spokesman, on condition of anonymity, pointed out that the Legionnaires are, by law, “not actually French. This makes all the difference,” he opined.

The United Nations has called for peace, condemning the over reaction of the French authorities. Secretary General Annan has journeyed to Amman, Jordan, for “consultations” on the situation and to seek funds, ostensibly to help displaced freedom fighters, or something.

  6. Meanwhile, the French leadership (President, members of Parliament, local governors, and mayors) are all standing around with dumb looks on their faces in disbelief… All they can do is ask for calm?!?!  I mean if this keeps up then they will look worse then FEMA responding to Katrina!  Seems to be getting worse each day…

Suppose when the richer parts of Paris are set ablaze something will be done.  Suppose when the French government offices are burning someone might actually suggest shooting the rebels.  It’s not enough they are blocking roads with flaming debris; bus stops and some poor lady starts to exit the bus, on crutches no less; and they spray barbecue starter fluid on her and light her up?!?!  WTF IS GOING ON IN FRANCE!

Read that the French are surprised by the foreign media hype.  WTF?!? They don’t get it!  If riots of this magnitude where on going in American cities, there would be a Humvee with a machine gun turret at every street corner.  The National Guard would be patrolling the streets and they would shoot anyone out after curfew!  If this was Texas, then the local gun toting population would be shooting the rioting scum on sight just to protect their private property.  Wonder if the French Citizens can sue the government for damages to their cars?  535 * $10,000.00 = $5,350,000.00 and that’s a conservative amount I saw BMW’s that were burned!

I say, VIVA LE REVOLUTION!  Goodbye little froggies, it was NOT nice to know you!  I say let France burn, then we can safely bomb the enemy because there won’t be any French left alive after the Muslim immigrants are finished with them.  I am actually surprised that Al Qaeda hasn’t been smuggling AK-47’s into the Paris suburbs.  I expect they may try to get weapons into the hands of these thugs.  Want to see Chirac or De Villa’schmuck’s face after they witness RPG’s being fired at the Louve’ or the distinct sound of multiple AK-47’s going Rat-Ta-Tat-Tat....

  7. Some points gleaned from scanning a few dozen Google News—mostly foreign press.
    1. These “youths”, as they are called, have no plan or political agenda.  As the Times says, they’ve put aside their Play Stations for some real fun.
    2. Going out and “wrecking” at night, in smaller numbers, is a normal affair.
    3. It usually involves stealing car parts, which was what the original 3 were doing.
    4. The cops don’t go into their neighborhoods at all normally.  A woman phoned for help and the Flying Squad showed up.
    5. The real rioting was caused by the police presence—the original spark being now forgotten. More cops, more fun.
    6. One of the powerful forces for social assimilation, mandatory military service, was eliminated in the 1990’s.
    7. With the huge numbers of Muslim immigrants, assimilation is all but impossible. These people stick to their own communities and culture. Altho they have drivers licenses and passports, they consider themselves French, but not “really French”.
    8. Minor political squabbles between the French political parties have been put aside, as they have joined together in united total ineffectiveness. Someone suggested it might be better if the cops addressed these “youths” with the formal “vous” (you), instead of the informal “tu” (also “you” but no such word in English). “Tu” is used for friends, family, little children, dogs and cats—affectionately. To address a stranger with “tu” is contemptuous, or patronizing.
    9. I’ll look further, but thus far there have been no plans to use the ‘Jaws of Life’ to assist French autorities in extracting their thumbs from their asses.

  8. The Paris elites are out of touch with reality but I think if they don’t quell this soon they will have a counter revolution on their hands. The French police are not known for their tolerance of minorities and I am surprised they haven’t killed anyone. I suppose they are worried about triggering some real trouble. All the time it’s confined to the Algerians, Cameroons et al they probably don’t care too much. If it spreads to the other neighbourhoods they will have to get serious because the peasants outside of Paris won’t put up with it.

Oink. Regarding point 7 above. The possession of a French ID also allows these low lifes to travel anywhere in Europe “without let or hinderance.” We have a man in a British jail (Algerian) who came to England on a French ID. He is wanted for a bomb attack on the Paris metro, but our loony left judges will not allow him to be extradited in case the nasty French deport him to Algeria. One of the major problems facing Europe is the numbers of moooslim immigrants. In Holland they found a solution to the huge numbers of illegals. They gave them Dutch nationality and the problem was solved. Most of them migrated to Britain where the dole is better. Or failing that they would shuttle back and forth between Holland and Britain claiming benefits in both countries, often with multiple identities. Yesterday I read of a Nigerian in Britain (who has at least 19 bogus identities). He was convicted of fraudulently obtaining £1 million or $1.7
million in benefits. He has been deported three times and they don’t actually know who he really is.

Point 8 is also very appropriate. Though I would say the French police unlike their British counterparts have no inhibitions about stopping minorities. In Britain if the police want to speak to a person of colour they have to fill out forms etc. to justify their actions. The French don’t work this way. If they want to speak to someone they do, and they don’t apologise for targetting minorities.

If it keeps on this way I can see a resurgence of the extreme right wing under Le Penn who is not known for his tolerance. The French have something of a history for violent uprisings and this may end up being the start of something nasty.

  9. Not to nit-pick or anything, Oink, but #8 is a little mis-informed. The word “vous” is an impersonal, generic form of “you” and is generally used for addressing everyone. “Tu” is a personal form of “you” and is only used to refer to people you know well or are close to. To address a stranger with “tu” is not contemptuous or patronizing. It demonstrates an attempt to establish closeness. “Je vous aime” means I want to get in your panties. “Je t’aime” means I really love you.

  10. Right, Cap’n. We used to have Thee and Thou” in English. That’s why “voulez-vous couchez avec moi” sounds silly—also “up your’s Pal” in English suggests how the familiar tense is used. Or, Hey Buddy, kiss my ass—One simply does not use formal address when soliciting a piece of ass nor when insulting some person.

All this reminds me of my German Son who lived with us a year. He really wanted to learn English fluently.  I was always saying to him, “Yes, that’s technically correct grammar, BUT the way you’re saying it suggests ...”

What did you think of the points I gleaned from my reading? LBJ and BossMan? LBJ’s Man-On-The-Ground points were insightful—as always. He is one of several members who are always worth reading. Then there’s OldCatMan ....

  11. The REAL “game” won’t start with “French and Muslims.” No, that doesn’t sound right does it? COWBOYS and Muslims” does.
