All but two of my clocks are radio controlled, and strangely enough they all changed over night. Kinda odd. Computer and cell phone are on MST now too. Must be sequester related.
I only got the Microwave clock left in “need to reset mode”. The other old clocks get left on standard time year round.
Thank goodness I put the SVHS video player away when I moved the stereo into this place. The time on that one was always a grumpy bear to set, and I usually left it showing 12:03 just like everyone else.
I just thought it was humorous that I’ve got timepieces built into nearly everything, but I have few actual clocks. Actually, I’ve got 3 of them still in boxes out in the garage. Battery powered. And a few wristwatches too, even though I never wear one any more.
The cars are all that’s left - one is easy, the other I always have to get the book out. Sadly the hubby had to do the one kitchen timer (that has a clock function) as I couldn’t find the book and just couldn’t get the process right.
Although the DST concept is ancient - it was (big surprise) expanded and intrenched in the 1970s. Another part of American life that the crapweasels in DC have no business being involved in.
Out time changes in another week or two. Hard to keep track sometimes
I think we all just created a Facebook Page.
Hey, posts can’t always be about politics, global ruination and hot redheads.
I vote for the hot redhead pages!
And we need more raven-haired and brunettes. Thank God you don’t post many blonds!
