3. Actually Beleive it or not.. According to the Department of Energy http://www.eia.doe.gov/pub/oil_gas/petroleum/data_publications/company_level_imports/current/import.html

   as of September Saudi Arabia was not the Major Source of our Oil but the Second, behind Canada(Surprising as that is).. Mexico is Third and Venezuela(ICCk) is 4th..
   In crude oil that is.. In Refined Petroleum Canada is #1, then Mexico 2nd and Saudi 3rd Followed by Hugo..

4. The President puts forward an energy bill to open up ANWR and the enviro-weenies go berserk causing Congress to kill it.
   Would someone puleeeze ‘splain to me how in the H-E-"double hockey sticks” the weenies attained (and keep) so much clout/influence?  ANYBODY?  Skipper? (It’s a serious question.)

5. Drill ANWR. Drill off the Florida coast. Move the oil shale project into high gear. Build solar farms all over the southwest. Put in wind farms and tidal generators. Build half a dozen new refineries. Make a deal with Haiti and a couple other run down islands to make them our new industrial base. Make CAFE real again and raise the standards a bit; it should apply to every vehicle sold, of any kind, that is not registered to a business that employs at least a dozen people. No more than 4 blends of gasoline for the entire country.

   The solutions are already here. All it takes is some will. Hello government, we’re at war! Find some backbone for once and do what needs to be done.
