  1. I’m kind of in favor of the FFART solution.  Fifteen Fold Armed Response Treaty.  We make it plain and very simple.  In the event of a nuclear detonation originating in Iran, including but not limited to nuclear blast testing, the US immediately, without hesitation, and without regard for collateral damage responds with 15 times the Mega tonnage of said detonation.  In the interim, we can comandeer their broadcast capability once a week and show 24 hour coverage of all our nuclear testing films, translating into Iranian or Farsi or whatever language they use, explaining quite clearly what the effect would be if the Mullahs decide to proceed with nuclear tech.  We let them develope their technology, because it would be decades before they could match our arsenal.  Even these savages can do Math!!!!

    But that’s just my opinion....

  2. I think such an assault should enact regime change, not just expect it to happen. Target their entire government and a large percentage of their religious leadership. Then extend that air campaign another few days to take out every tank and cannon you can find. Smart to knock out every single road or bridge that goes up to the borders too. Better get those troops of ours out of the Fulga Gap and down into Iraq and Afghanistan ahead of time too, cuz when you whack this hornet’s nest the ‘ranis will be coming over the mountains right quick. Or through or under them, like their pals the Norks would do. Be prepared for that.

Properly executed, I have confidence that we could start and decisively finish a war with Iran in two weeks or less. No need to invade them even; we already have the country surrounded. Just knock them out and leave it like that.

But let’s not forget that they have loads of WMDs too, and have also shown a willingness to use them. At least that’s what I recall from the Iran/Iraq war 20 years ago?

It’s always a bed thing when you have to have a war. I see our options getting smaller every day, so what else can we do? Iran has an insane government IMO. Let them get nukes and they will be used. That can not be allowed to happen. That can not be allowed to even almost happen.

  3. Always a bad thing. Typo.

  4. Comrades,

It’s a bad situation with no good answers. I’ve seen the pointy end of the stick. I don’t want war. In this case, I see no alternative. If the Iranians get Nukes, they will use them. No question about that. Either they will use them, or give them to proxies to use, and that’s an even worse thought.

I actually do stay up late worrying about this because I have kids of my own, and because I know what Nukes can do. I trained to deliver them.

However, here and now, i know that we have to do something to stop the mad mullahs of Iran. They are theocratic psychopaths and sadly, I suspect that only death will stop them from their nefarious plans.

Ah well..... time for another glass of bourbon. I hope those Iranian Mullahs rot in Hell for all the tragedy they are about to bring into this world.

    Respects,

    Gwedd

  5. I really don’t think we have an alternative. I don’t think these people will respond to diplomacy and quite frankly I think Ahminmedinnerjacket is barking mad. If we are to stop this we should use overwhelming force. Blow them into the stone age and as Drew says take out all their bridges and infrastructure. Short term pain, long term gain. If we don’t stop this now then it is going to get very ugly in the future.

  7. The other allternative is the ”$38 solution”, one bullet for Ahminastraitjacket, and one each for the gang of 75 crazy mullah sand monkeys who are in charge and are whore-ding the nation’s wealth for them selves and their criminal associates, and leaving the entire Iranian population to be scapegoated for their criminal actions.

(This is based on 76 carefully fired bullets, at the estimated cost of 50 cents per round. Volunteer Marksmen can be selected to accomplish this much-needed task). One shot each could accomplish the mission, but about a thousand rouds each would be much more satisfying, and well worth the $38,000.

  8. I like the FFART proposal.

I want them to fear us.

I’m done with playing nine-nice.  We need to show them that those who kill Americans die in large numbers.  Those who support those who kill Americans need to die in large numbers.  Those who apologize for those who kill Americans need to die in large numbers.

They bitch and whine about the “Ugly American”.  It’s time we show them how ugly it can get.

  10. RP,

Thanks for that link regarding extra terrestrials! I had no idea we were disturbing them with our aggressive and wrong headed weapons tests!

Glad I know. I will work hard to get the world’s peoples to come together to beg forgiveness from them!

Now, where’d I put my foil beanie!
