  1. Did you really send this Skipper?  If so, good for you!

  2. Yes, Lisa. I e-mailed it direct to the White House and also to Vice President Cheney shortly after I posted it.

  3. Ahead of you this time, Skipper. Back on Feb 25 I sent the following Fax to our POTUS:
    Mr. President:
As a citizen of the United States I am outraged to learn that two U.S. border agents have been convicted and sentenced to lengthy prison terms for doing their jobs: pursuing illegal aliens who cross our border. I respectfully request that you to pardon these men for their actions.
I am even more outraged to learn that this illegal alien --who was attempting to smuggle about 800 pounds of marijuana into our country-- was tracked down by a DHS investigator and granted immunity for his testimony against these two agents!
This is a terrible injustice, and I urge you to use your considerable authority and power to right this obvious wrong.

  4. Skipper, I refuse to ever follow a link to that terroist enabling communist shit wipe called the NY Times. Fox News also covered the story.

I don’t get the news at work, so I just learned this seconds ago. I need a fast belt of something strong before I can even read the stoty. White is black, black is white, North is South, wrong is right. The whole world is upside down and I can’t understand any of it any more.

If nothing else, Libby’s case is a lesson that the government can find something to convict you of, no matter what the evidence is or isn’t. With any luck, Scoot will get the same sentence that the ever-popular singing sensation, prostitute and drug addict, Lil’ Kim got, and be out in a year. The charges were about the same I think.

Your letter is nice, but it won’t do a damn thing. Under Clinton at least the Libby family could have bought a pardon, not that charges ever would have been brought forward.

  5. Let’s not forget Deputy Gilmer Hernandez from Rock Springs Texas who is also serving time for ‘doing his job’.

  6. Exactly RINO Hunter.  This deputy was put in prison at the continual insistence of the Mexican Consulate.

  9. I sent an email back when the sentence was handed down.

It is the border that is one of the few things I feel President Bush let us all down on. He could (as President) stomp down on it, but he could have done it in the wake of 9/11 without a peep. Yet he not only does not, he lets things like this happen.

Now granted most of his problem running this country, is the fact that since the 2000 election, a vocal minority have done nothing but attack, distort and attempt to bring down his Administration.

Too many of us have allowed it - but it does prove the bias of the media. One would think that the 2004 election would have shut them up, but they only have gotten worse.

How far will it go? I am afraid that someone will attempt to kill President Bush (or Cheney) before Americans wake up as to how insane and lunatic those who are against the President are and how the media has aided and abetted.

But we are talking about a people who extoll, even now former President Bill’italldependsonwhatthedefinitionofitis’Clinton. . .

Good thing we have guns and know how to use them, it is going to get much worse before it gets better.
