   The idiot is from SANTA FE! I repeat, SANTA FE! That is the most liberal town in the state and the state capital to boot. This is the place where they have passed the ‘Living Wage’ law. The law ensures that folks will make at least $10.25/hour because no one can afford to live in the town. Why? The leberati from the right and left coasts have invaded the place and driven property values through the roof. They come with their truck loads of money and pave the streets with it. But, the locals cannot afford to live in the town any more.

   Santa Fe is my home town. When I left the service in 1975, I came to the largest city in the state, because that was where the jobs are.

   If I post about the Southwest, maybe you all should give it a listen, I have lived here all of my life, with the exception of my time spent in the US Army.

   Liberal idiots from Santa Fe should be ignored, the thin air up there has made them giddy (7000’ above sea level). That includes that asshat Bill Richardson.

   Apathy - La Raza has been a non-player in local politics for years. They had a brief foray into the limelight under Lopez-Tijerina for about 5 minutes in the late 1970’s, then faded to the obscurity they deserve.

   Hobo, as AoF mentioned, these groups are very active in SoCal, and half of my former in-laws were heavily involved in La Raza.  Like the commies, they don’t really need to work themselves directly into politics.  They just have to win and influence as many hearts and minds as they can. Over time, by sheer numbers (they’re outbreeding Anglos at 3:1 now), they will get what they want.  Have a look at OCM’s
