  1. Kinda makes you smile, don’t it? Once you get past the “I wish it was me” thought, that is.

  4. That’s bullshit, OCM.

  5. Okay, OCM. In the states that I’m most familiar with, OH, NY, WV, IN, KY what you said doesn’t hold true. While I don’t check on each and every winner I do read about winners when I run across the stories. The one that springs readily to mind is Jack Whittaker the man in WV who was already a millionaire through his own business and the tragedies that befell him and his family, mostly through their own behavior. Most of the winners that I see are home grown Americans, about our age and older and mostly white.

I live in Ohio, as you probably know, so I also keep an eye on the Mega Millions drawing which involves 12 states: California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

I did a search on “mega millions winners” and came up with some of the winners. Two <i>did</userdefined> seem to have a hispanic names, one of which was a Portugese immigrant. I have no idea if the other apparent hispanic winner, Mr. Diaz, was born here or if he even speaks Spanish. You are free to make your own conclusions.

Here‘s another page full of winners.

    I’m still calling bullshit.

  6. Oh, I see, the Al Franken defense.

I recognize #3 as a joke, OCM, HA fuckin’ HA.

#6 & #8 seem to be you supporting the idea. That’s where I called bullshit.

Make up your mind, it’s either a joke or it’s an idea you’re trying to support.

In any case, it’s a tax on stupidity. The dumber you are, the more you pay.
