ONE IN FOUR BRIT KIDS DON’T THINK CHURCHILL WAS REAL, BUT SHERLOCK HOMES WAS. HUH?
Not to say that American kids might do better. I really don’t know. But it’s a darn shame and not funny at all if this is the truth.
I enjoy Brit history and have always been fascinated by it and the country and ppl. But damn it ... I really don’t understand the Brits who run around apologizing and playing down their history. Nuff said.

Makes perfect sense. The educational system has been manipulated to remove history and pride. Forget the concept of “feel good”, I’m talking about the pride of honest accomplishment. If you have no pride in yourself, how can you have pride in something beyond yourself or in another member of your tribe/country/society?
Ignorant people are easily led and cannot readily engage in critical thinking. Take your pick of future dystopias, I don’t want to see any of them. People like Hillary, Obama and others are counting on a brain dead populace that wants to be led.
