One for JayD

Note the UK category on this. And the deliberate Dances With Wolves reference. From Peiper’s previous post and my multiple, long winded comments on it, I still feel that the English ... Just. Don’t. Get. It.

So here IT is. Recall the film, wiki it up, or go watch it. Ignore the explicit America Is Bad theme. Just focus on Mary McDonnell’s character and how she got that name. Clarissa Drew explains it all.

  1. Even her glasses are sexy.  She’s gorgeous and you’re right. Even with her cloths on she is dyn-o-mite! Gotta love her.

Hey ... re. the long winded comments. Not at all. Made for damn good reading.

  2. She’s saucy but I can’t see her being the right person to run against “the One”

  3. Lyndon, you’re correct. She is far better as a commentator, role model, and lightening rod. She has shown, in spades, that she has bigger ones than pretty much any ma on the political sceen these days. Certainly more so than the Golfer in Chief. Oh, and gee whiz, look, a ring on her finger. The leftist blowhard foam flecked crazies are sooo deflated.

  4. Damn sexists - get over it - THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE RULES THE WORLD - bout time a real American Woman lead this Nation back from the brink - what a wonderful counter balance to the faux Kenyan Muslim moron now serving. Drew wonderfully gratuitous movie reference.

  5. Gee, I hope you don’t compare Governor Palin to Mary McDonnell’s other well-known character. I, for one, DON’T want to see her with a bald head!

  6. Macker, Well done even if I don’t know what it was.  Ha. My age shows again. Interesting.
I’d never seen that. I take it it’s a TV show?
That woman can give a few 20 year olds some serious competition I think. She is pretty.  Who is she?

Re. Lyndon and Sarah running against ‘the one.’ I’m afraid Lyndon is right. I dearly love the woman, even when I don’t agree with everything. Heck, I would much prefer her to gov. moonbeam as head of state in Calif. But I don’t think she’d have the votes to win the White House.  Sadly, and many will not agree maybe, I don’t see anybody on our side that can do it either. Do any of you?

I wish Simon Heffer or Michelle Phillips were Americans so they could run. Or Richard Littlejohn.  Why don’t we have anyone like them back home?  That isn’t saying anything bad about Sarah Palin believe me. But the three I mentioned are brilliant beyond all understanding. I think you’d have to be here to understand that.
It really doesn’t matter though at this point. We don’t have a real communicator that I’m aware of, who can galvanize the electorate. Republican votes alone won’t do it.

  7. No Palin should not run. But she should flirt with the idea of it, to keep the looneys in a state.
