Yep, it sure sucks to live in advanced, superior European nations that have moved beyond such trivial things as a fundamental right to free speech, doesn’t it? I’m sure Oriana Fallaci would support Wilders if she was still alive.
Speak up, speak out, damn their eyes and tell the truth!
See I am taking a different see here - while the trial is a sham and a piece of crap ‘war crimes show’ trial - I see it as the opening shot in this new actual GWOT. The EU is collapsing under itself for the exact reason (plus a real rampant pcness that is killing ‘em just a tad faster) that all vapid progressive socialism fails - the open border nonsense of globalism.
But the euro is failing, many EU countries are running serious deficit (sound familiar?!?) economies and even Sweden & France have elected more conservative politicos. I think (such as all over the World, historically) that once again this OneGlobalWorld socialistic idea of gov is about to implode.
This trial is the last straw - it is a man expressing his opinion - which apparently is growing among his people - as his party has grown over the years. I watched Fitna - it is their (muslim) words and actions - and so I think while Wilders might be ‘found’ guilty - although a lot of these people tried for similar things haven’t been - the very fact that it is generating stories such as this - shows that people are not in the EU camp of bending over and giving it all up to the cult known as islam.
Islam is a Disease, wrapped around an Ideology, inside a Cult.

No matter which way the court finds, Wilders can’t lose. If he’s found not guilty, he and his party will ride a tide of vindication and the flood-gates will open. If he’s found guilty, it will unleash a flood of anti-islamic resentment thats alredy building in the Dutch people.
Does anyone here know of any growing popular political movements that have not historically benefited from persecution? Looks to me like he’s is fixing to do a “mandela”. Two years of prison (in the Netherlands, fer chrissakes, I mean, we’re not talking Attica here) will grant him huge street cred as having suffered for his beliefs. His party takes power, rights wrongs, grants pardons for past convictions, etc. etc....

They are now a collective of states under the rule of Brussels. And it will be fun to watch that institution try to flex its muscle over the objections of franco pride,british bulldogedness, german disdain,and italian indifference to legality.The scandies sold their souls long ago for the most part.
I suspect in this case no publicity is bad publicity. I don’t agree with Wilders in his assertion that the koran should be banned. That “bansturbation” mentality is a mistake. However Wilders has shone a light on the uncontrolled immigration from the turd world into Europe. The principal reason that there are so many turd worlders in Europe is because human rights laws have been used by would be immigrants to prevent their deportation. By claiming they would be persecuted if they were shipped home they have been given a free pass to remain. In the end the Dutch, just like the British, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian etc. have caved in and given these deadbeats passports. However they choose not to assimilate into “european culture” preferring their own barbarism.
Civil war is the most likely outcome of this adventure in social engineering. However the scum who have perpetrated it will not be affected. It is the people living in hell holes like Bradford, and Oldham. Places where twenty years ago white children were the overwhelming majority and where now they are in a minority. Maggie Thatcher’s right hand man Norman Tebbit has a good take on this in his blog at the Daily Telegraph.
