On Being A Babysitter

  1. I still feel we should have taken over and ruled with a flaming iron fist at least at first. Then feed them a little freedom at a time, starting with education and manufacturing/farming exports.

  2. Some people just aren’t wired correctly to be able to handle it. These people need a strong authoritative figure in charge to keep them from going over the edge. Yes, I’m referring to Liberals ... also to most of the Arabs and Persians in the Middle East and Asia. Their minds aren’t capable of handling freedom of expression, religion or tolerance of others without someone making sure they do it. Think of them as children. They need parents.

One would think you are describing our congress… And yes, Drew458’s idea would work wonders with them, too.

  3. Hehehehe. Yep, Congress needs a babysitter too. Especially in light of the fact that we give them our checkbook.

  4. What Drew said…

  5. Why thanks y’all. You don’t give a 17 year old kid a Ferrari the minute he gets his driver’s license. Start ‘em out slow with some old beater that needs lots of repair. Same goes here; you gotta learn to walk before you can run.

  6. And if you do give the 17 y.o. the Ferrari and it ends up wrapped around a tree - who do you blame?

    Ferrari

    Ferrari dealerTree

    Whoever planted the tree

Global warming for allowing the tree to grow unexpectedly, jumping out in front of the Ferrari

Evil conservatives for allowing Ferraris to be sold without permits or backround checks

    AAA

    Karl Rove????

  7. That’s easy. EVERYTHING is Karl Rove’s fault.

    Bark-bark-bark!

    LOL

  8. "He will be a wild donkey of a man;
his hand will be against everyone
    and everyone’s hand against him,
and he will live in hostility
    toward all his brothers.”
