  1. God Bless your heart Allan, stop this bullshit right now! Where there is life there is hope! Always fight the good fight, always stand firm!
Just because some simpering moonbat gets some media coverage does not mean that the cause and works of Righteous Loyal Citizens of this Great Land go by the wayside with no or little effect. If your cause is just and your works honorable, God will bless it and make sure it bears fruit.
    So Stop It!

  3. Damn, are you depressed today or what?

  4. Me, depressed? No. I just want everyone to take a good close look at the fucked-up mess we have created. There is no consistency in our laws, the wrong people have to live and the best people have to die. Yet we keep telling ourselves, “it’s getting better every day”. BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT! BULLSHIT!

  5. None of this is going to change as long as we sit back, sip our beers, let the idioturds wail and moan and allow government to legislate morality. It won’t stop until we actually pick up a rock and throw it.

  6. I sadly agree with you Allan.
Btw- I was on Michael Medved explaining to the moonbats how “painless” starvation is downer

  7. There were two times in my life when I had serious death-overload problems.  I’m not talking about the loss of close family members. The first time was Vietnam; the second working terminal care at the VA hospital.

My reservations about the death penalty stem from this.  I mean the cold blooded nature of it—if I caught Manson et al. in the act I would cheerfully cut his throat with a rusty knife.  I will never kill a harmless thing without serious cause. (food being one) I prefer to throw bugs outside the house rather than kill them.

It would be really convenient if Schievo was not human.  It would be nice if fetuses were not.  Everybody has his personal list, right?

NOTHING IS AS EASY TO ADJUST TO AS ANOTHER PERSON’S PAIN

  8. Allen -
You couldn’t have been more to the point!  Your writing is “Dead-On” the truth, albeit a bit morose.  Beautifully written!

  9. If death and Hades were given authority over one fourth of the earth, they exceeded their orders a good many years ago.  Any survivor of the Holocaust, the Stalinocaust, the Maocaust and their sequels could attest to this.  Nevertheless, life goes on, despite the butchery of the ages.

Your point is clear and well made, but always remember that the ultimate authority does not rest with death and Hades.  Life is stronger than both, for it is born of a stronger (and ultimate) source.

  10. I have two simple thoughts on why We are here and what We are supposed to do.

    1. Take care of each other.

    2. Make stuff better.

  11. Allan, that is one of your finest essays.  Amen.

  12. Hope is never gone when one person with inner light, beguiling, bewitching words of truth is here to touch/inflame the humanity within others. Do not stop being that light Allan, as there are many of us that are enriched by your being.

Life will always be a mixture of love and pain.  Silly example...today taking 12 year old son to training, I noticed a Pray Mantis on the outside of the drivers window, gripping on precariously, got INC to stop so I save it from being a splatter on the following vehicle’s windscreen, felt good doing this little thing.  It flew off and landed on the grass verge...swoop came a bird and ate it gleefully.  You just never know the part you have in the cycle of life.

  13. I can picture Scott Peterson kicking back in his little room, watching TV, chomping on a snickers bar while he reads his stacks of love letters. We can only hope the Death will be summoned when Scott “accidentally” chokes on one of his socks.

  14. Verry verry nice. Great job and well written Allan.  cool smile

You missed somethings on the minnesota shooting. The boy first shot his grandfather and his grandfather’s girl friend. His grandfather was a retired police officer of the reservation. They belive that the guns the boy used came from his grandfathers house. The boys dad commited suicide a couple of months ago, and his mom died a while ago of what I cant remember.

Back in my younger youth, I had pondered alot on that so many bad things seem to happen to good people, and so many good things seem to happen to bad people. There is no reason for it but to live your life to the fullest and the best of your ability. Take what comes to you and deal with it to the best of your ability.

Tough decisions do not have to be made alone, thats why we have freinds and family. One should never take his or her own life or the life of someone elses for that matter. (Unless it is in self defense.)
