OK so ….. question for today, there will be a test. How many Brits does it take to change a bulb?

  1. Rubbish. Fire everyone involved, from the top down. No severance pay.

2 guys and a cherry picker, 1 hour. New lamp with pole arm, $500. Utility company shuts the power down if the old lamp doesn’t have a switch.

  2. Basically the same setup we have on our pole. The power company sent 2 guys in a truck and they had it changed in 10 minutes including a new switch which was the root cause of the problem. We got billed, as it’s our light (purchased from the power company)..
Cost? $70.00 including new bulb and switch.

I would check to see if one of the council has ties with the people who are doing the work…

    Just a thought…

Commenting is not available in this weblog entry.

Next entry: Not the first time and given muzzie attitudes, won't be the last. Bus bars guide dog. Again.

Previous entry: Not a bad way to start the blog day but I'll get worse as day goes on no doubt. Good for a laff tho.
