Oil Down, Gas Up: Global Economy vs Hurricane Ike
Under the Emergency Powers, the President needs to be able to freeze energy prices one week before a hurricane and for up to three weeks after a natural disaster.
A few gas station owners being publicly carted away by Army troops (we don’t cover faces with cloths like they do in the UK on perp-walks) and being thrown in jail - or shot - would solve the problem....
