Brace yourself for another round of anti-gun hysteria after this latest tragedy.
Of course, the only ones armed on campus are the shooter and the police. Look how well that turned out for the dead officer and the second victim.
I hope no one else - other than the criminal - is harmed, but this is sure to reignite the debate about who should and should not be allowed to carry firearms on campus.
If nothing else, it again shows the fallacy that anti-guns laws keep people safe.

The Liberals will be howling and barking at the moon about banning guns from honest citizen’s ownership.
That’ll leave the remaining weapons in the hands of the Mexican drug cartels, the Black Panthers, Crips and Bloods.

Does anyone know what sales have been since O’BuggerBoy took office? I mean, other than “great” or “higher sales than when Brady passed”. Our local shops say gun purchases are - and have been - “brisk”.
I want - like - numbers. We used to have something like 200 million firearms in the hands of civilians in the US. Is it 250 million yet?
GCM - there is an article down a bit (from a couple of days ago) apparently Black Friday sales set a record and sales have been better than 2009 - which was more than ‘brisk’.
Did you catch any of the Holder F&F grilling yesterday? Sensenbrenner finally said the I word - after Holder’s disgraceful (but so Clintonesque) ‘definition’ of lie. Meanwhile the usual suspects (Dems) used this disgrace (which was all Administration conceived, approved and actioned) as a reason for MORE gun control.
It’s going to be a long year plus until we get this criminal Administration out of office and hopefully in jail.
wm4 - I caught a bit of it. I was already “pre-disgusted” by the whole sordid scheme (which fucking KILLED people! Lots of ‘em!!) so I stopped listening.
The way these asshats distort reality to justify their behavior should result in a big crack in space that sucks them into a black hole forever. Truly, their lying is an affront to physical reality. I am beginning to really despise most of them.
Since the election of that scumbag in the WH, over and over again I have been absolutely STUNNED at the level of corruption brought to the WH and Gvt in general. This is not a case of simply the “latest” being the worst. They’ve brought illegal behavior up to a furious boil - where before, it was (at its worst) tepid.
But what do you expect from a racist, islamic, socialis,t ill-read, ill-bred idiot of a man who refuses to salute the flag or wear a flag pin or place his hand over his heart during the national anthem, who celebrates the beliefs of barbarians and sniffs disdainfully at our oldest customs, who bows to our enemies but disrespects our allies, .....oh, fuck. I am soooooooo pissed...its one of the reasons I don’t surf/blog/comment much anymore. I’m so pissed I am not coherent - and that ain’t good.
ooGcM - since a month or two before the halfrican invaded the White House, gun sales have been about 1.25 million per month/14 million per year, on average. This is about a 25% increase over normal sales.
Extrapolating this December’s sales, in the past 12.2 years there have been 140 million NICS checks, of which only a few thousand have been denied. And since one NICS check is good for however many guns you’re buying today, the implication is that about one gun for every other citizen has been purchased in that time period. On top of all the other guns we’ve always had, because they don’t usually wear out for 100 years or so. So it is no real stretch to say that there is at least one firearm per person in the USA, since the real numbers are probably more like 4 or 5 guns per person. Unfortunately, not everyone owns one, and probably 7/8 of those that do have firearms spend little or no time at the range getting good with them.
When new breaks don’t believe it! The so called “news’ is nothing more than a bunch of hysterical sensationalized bullshit trying to grab ratings. When the headline breaks, ignore it for a day or so until the lies and garbage settle out of the shit cloud that is reporting in the 21st century, and you might get a few snippets of truth.
