4. OTOH, didn’t the USA sell out Tibet in 1959 when the Chicoms invaded? Couldn’t we have routed them then? Or stood up for their freedom? It’s not like China was any kind of import player over here until well after Nixon, 1972-ish, right?

   guess I’m asking, have we ever stood up for Tibet? Because we’ve never stood up for Taiwan. Not really. “Two Chinas” my kung-pao chicken. BS.
