NY: Pimp My State

 

1. Now..maybe I am just being a cynic, but in reading the mainstream media news reports of this affair, one would know this guy is a Democrat imediately because he wasn’t identified as a Republican in the first line of these storys. What media bias?

2. Now, political corruption is nothing new on either side of the aisle.  There is one difference though.  When a Republican messes up (eg. Larry Craig), the Republicans drop him like a dog t*rd.  When a Democrat messes up (think Cynthia McKinney) everyone rallies to the defense.  Let’s see what happens.

4. There will be some serious partying done by the people of Wall Street, if, he goes down! He was not well liked there, because of some of his investigations of Wall Street Brokerage houses while he was NYAG. Interestingly enough, while he was a Candidate for Governor, he tried to get those same firms to pony up money for his campaign.

   Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy!

5. Spitzer has been anti-gun, anti-capitalist, for drivers’ licenses for illegals and now this.  Methinks Spitzer is the one who is “legally blind.”

6. I live in New York and I can tell you that this man is despised by everyone. 

   Both political parties are upset with him.

   Mr. Spitzer, since coming into office, has acted as if he is a law unto himself.

   As a conservative, and a pro-lifer, I have had special reasons to fear his authoritive attacks on the Catholic hospitals, etc.

   I admit that I am quite shocked at this news, but I am also delighted.

   I suppose that is called Shadenfraude.
